As SAT/ACT scores are optional for international undergraduates, the chances of selection are higher if their GPA is 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale. However, students who aim for scholarships need to submit these scores. For Fall 2020, the university had an acceptance rate of 94% with admitted freshmen scoring 916 to 1185 in the SAT and 19 to 24 in the ACT. Also, students from non-English speaking countries should focus on scoring maximum marks in the English language proficiency tests to increase their chances of admission.

Graduate applicants who want to enroll in MBA programs will be selected based on their GMAT/GRE. Though GMAT/GRE scores are not required for other graduate programs, most programs have additional requirements. For International MBA, a GMAT score (or GRE equivalent) of 450 or higher is required. Applicants must meet a minimum of 1050 points based on the formula: 200 times the overall undergraduate GPA plus the GMAT (of 450 or higher).

Most scholarships offered to international students are based on academic excellence. Indian students received up to USD 6,000 a year in the form of scholarships. Some scholarships might offer higher amounts, but they are specific to certain departments or colleges. Grade Point Average, plays a crucial role in determining if a student is eligible for a merit-based scholarship. For instance, Gorilla International Scholarship offers the highest scholarship award of USD 6,000 every year for students with a GPA between 3.8 and 4.0. Graduate Fellowships

An International Graduate Fellowship of USD 1,000 is awarded to graduates enrolled in a full-time course. It covers the tuition fees charged for the first two semesters of the coursework. Applicants must have the qualifying TOEFL or IELTS scores to be eligible for this fellowship. It is also based on work experience, undergraduate GPA, and academic experience gained after a bachelor's degree.

Any supporting application material submitted to the university is non-returnable. International students need to submit an official transcript from each institution they attended. Translated degree certificate or Diploma is required that states degree received, degree confirmed date, and major. If applying online, students are encouraged to send copies of their coursework (unofficial transcripts) as soon as the application has been submitted, or mail them with their other application materials so that an initial review of their past study can begin. Transcripts are considered both in the native language and translated into English. The transcript should clearly indicate all coursework and grades (or marks), the degree awarded, the date the degree was awarded, and the name of the institution where the degree was earned. Do note that copies of transcripts submitted by students are not considered official.

Undergraduate and graduate applicants should have all the following documents as per their checklist apart from academic transcripts:

International undergraduate applicants should have a US-equivalent high school Diploma with a GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0, or students must have completed their high school from an accredited international college or university with similar GPA requirements. International students need not submit ACT/GRE/ Apart from this, any one of the English exam scores is required to meet the language proficiency.

However, some majors may require higher scores, such as:

Graduate Admissions

For graduate admissions, a bachelor’s degree (US-equivalent) with an average GPA of 2.7/4 is required for admission consideration. GRE/GMAT scores may be required as per course, and any one of the following English proficiency scores:

GNIOT Group of Institutions admission 2024 is based on IPU CET. The last date to submit the IPUCET has been extended to April 15, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website.

IPU CET 2024 will be conducted between April 27 and May 14. The college also accepts CUET UG Score for UG Admissions. CUET UG 2024 exam will be held from May 15 to May 31, 2024.

GNIOT Noida UG Admission 2024

The institute offers B.Tech in 8 specializations. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination from any recognised board with two compulsory subjects i.e. Physics and Mathematics and one optional subject.
