M.Sc Life sciences or Master of Science in life sciences is a postgraduate degree program offered by various universities and colleges around the country. It is a course that spans for two academic years divided into four semesters. The course gives a deep study of the various life process in plants, animals and human beings along with microorganisms like fungi, algae and virus. It is a study of the living beings at all levels starting from the molecular and cellular levels to the major life processes life respiration, digestion, reproduction, etc. The tuition fees for the course ranges from 4000 INR-50,000 INR per month and the condition that is compulsory for getting into this course is that a student must have at least 50% marks in B.Sc. or equivalent. Employment scope for Masters of Life Science is very high, one can work as a consultant, museum educator, pharmaceuticals, biophysicist, and nutritionist after getting the degree and can earn up to 2 to 5 LPA in the beginning of the career.
What is the M.Sc Life sciences about?

The eligibility criteria for PGP:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Differently Able (DA) or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category, this is relaxed to 45%).
A candidate appearing for the final year Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. Such a candidate must produce a certificate from the principal/head of the department/registrar/director of the institution/university certifying that the candidate is currently in the final year/is awaiting final results and has obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% in case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD category) based on the latest available grades/marks.

In second year, students are sent for internship to private and government construction companies, design consultant companies and in offshore companies to work and enrich their knowledge. Placements are likewise good where last year students were placed in prominent companies like JLL, Vedanta, TCS, WindForce, Ujaas.
The college has reputed themselves in placements, but I would suggest you to give GATES, and try to enroll in better college if you are looking forward to get impeccable results in placement and overall development.
You should try to get admission in IITs or NITs because the college is good but there are better colleges providing excellent placement opportunities than that provided here.
You still have enough time to prepare for the exam. Do not worry and focus on cracking it. If you don't make into it, then only go for UPES.

Factors taken into account:
