You will have to appear for an entrance test, which is a general aptitude test that includes quantitative aptitude test, Logical reasoning, English Language test and General Knowledge. Bharati Vidyapeeth University does not take CAT in consideration. The university has its own exam by the name BMAT. The selection process is considered for MBA program and there are 8 colleges under this university. If you have achieved top 200 rank, you can get New Delhi College in general category, above this goes to Pune and Mumbai. All colleges have 180 seats for MBA program.

If you want admission in top IIM like A, B, C then you should have more than 80 percentile being from a non-engineering background. The same criteria for rest IIMs but try to work for more than 90 because we should always try to do our best. So think and do all the very best.

As my friend mentioned, if you get into XIME-Bangalore, it is compulsory unless you get selected for the student exchange program that happens in winter.
If you get selected for Kochi or Chennai campus this isn't compulsory.
