For BTech admission in 2023, the institute accepts the JEE Mains score followed by UPTAC counseling.

The Home State Round 3 cutoff for the KIT, Varanasi BTech programme for the year 2023 remained at 996419 for the general category.

Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 2,450 that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. To get admitted to CUG Master of Education (M.Ed.) course, applicants must meet the entry requirements - 50% in graduation.
