Besides this, in the national institutional ranking framework the college was appearing in the top 40 for quite many years before sleeping to about 70 and then recovering again quite well. Many other colleges have the reputation of being the best and it was exemplified by the admissions getting closed at above 95% or even 99% in the older times in these colleges like St Stephen's, Lady Shriram, Miranda House, Ramjas etc. But then something best for me may not be the best for you is the principal which one must think of when comparing colleges.
