You can get into MBA as MBA is a degree which is open to students of all streams be it science, arts or commerce. To get into a good MBA institute you need to appear for various Entrance Examinations like CAT, MAT etc. The areas which are covered in these Entrance Examinations are: Verbal ability and reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative skills Data Interpretation & Analytical and Logical Reasoning. As these Entrance Examinations are tough to crack advisable would be that you should opt for a coaching Institute.
As far as the salary structure is concerned, the salary which a person earns would largely depend on his own capabilities, performance on the programmes and how he uses the th knowledge earned, however a degree from a good Institute can help him in improving his chances to get calls from high end companies.

Although, there are several institutes providing Home Science degree in India but as there is no neutral ranking for such institutes so you can not get the name of the best or second best Institute but few of the good Institutes which you may consider are:
Lady Irwin College ( Delhi University), University of Delhi (Faculty of Science), Mumbai University, University of Calcutta, University of Madras, Bangalore University, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University etc.
