Hi,
You cannot opt for both. One of the best approaches while deciding on your subjects/ stream is to opt for or look at doing something that you are good at and would enjoy.
If you have strong analytic and interpersonal skills and a keen understanding of the basic principles of law and order, then settle as a Lawyer. Else go for Journalism, if you are creative and have a flair for writing and possess excellent communication skills.
