If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. In Kerala, the Institute of English, Thiruvananthapuram, under the University of Kerala, offers a part-time diploma course in English for Communication for graduates, besides a regular MA course in English.
The Department of Foreign Languages under the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi - 22 conducts a P.G Diploma course in Communicative English. It is a part-time course of one-year duration. Number of seats - 25. Graduates in any discipline with English as one of the subjects of study, are eligible for admission. Masters degree courses in Communicative English are not available in Kerala.
