Yes, you may get. You have a fair chances of getting a seat in IIT just wait for counseling procedure that is CCMT but I have doubt that whether this IIT offer this course in which you want to take the admission since many other IIT too offered this course but this IIT does't because last year also this IIT did not release the cutoff for power electronic. So I suggest you take just verify whether the course is available in the IIT or not. Also check other IIT like Delhi, Bombay this might offer seat in power electronic.

You must go with PCM and must score minimum of 50-60 % in class 12th boards. Then, go for any degree, but basically choose aviation engineering or avionics (both are same). To become a pilot (basically there are many types of pilots), it includes an intensive training and proper include of rules and regulations.

Go for engineering line like BE/B.Tech with any branch. It is very good degree to pursue. And, if you don't want to go for engineering, and like Maths, then go for B.Sc. After this, you can do M.Sc and doctorate degree, and then you can become professor in the university. But, you have to have some knowledge and command on the field you will choose. And, if you have any query, then please revert me soon.
