Some what you are correct. Today the situation of B.Tech degree holders are like B.A. And M.A. Degree holders of 1980-90. the reason behind is that thousand of colleges are producing the lacs of BE/B.Tech degree holders every years. Government is reducing the number of job opportunities every year by adopting privatization and PPP mode. Private sectors are providing jobs to their relatives only. It differs from college to college and rush for admission. Basically minimum eligibility is 45% to 60% but this is just the minimum eligibilty for applying in the college but you must score better if you want admission in any good college. All the best.
