Indraprastha is not well reputed institute in terms of placement and package but there are options available beyond campus placement and also if job is in your mind, just graduation is not enough. You need to think about a post graduate professional degree such as MBA or certification like CFA. if he has good personality and communication definitely he will find something in the corporate and if he decides post graduate studies then from.where he does a BBA degree, it doesn't matter. While choosing IP University he should prefer following in preferential order

Conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority, Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is a state level entrance exam. The exam is a gateway for admissions to MBA programs. Karnataka PGCET MBA is conducted in paper-pencil mode and is scheduled for 2 hours.
Candidates who successfully clear the exam can secure their respective seats at University Post Graduate Centers, University Departments and Government aided as well as private institutes located within Karnataka.
PGCET MBA 2016 was conducted on July 2, 2016. The dates for PGCET 2017 have not been announced yet. However, going by this years trend, the exam will be conducted in the month of July 2017, and the answer keys will be released within a few days of exam. The declaration of ranks will be done by either in July end or by August, 2017. The document verification and allotment of seat shall be done in August 2017.

Hi Aman, UPSC exam in its official website itself recommends to only and strictly follow NCERT books for the preparation and many a times questions are either directly fetched or moulded from the NCERT textbooks itself along with current affairs updates from newspaper The Hindu and The Indian Express. Along with them, you may go for M. Laxmikanth book for polity of India and study of constitution. Also, Economics is the subject you need to go with +1 and +2 macrofinance books and for the rest of the subjects it would be advisable to go through NCERT books from 7th standard to 12th standard for all geography, history, art and culture, polity. If this sounds like a burden then it is mandatory to follow up with NCERT textbooks of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class. For Ecology preparation, botany book of +2 is enough to read. The general eligibility criteria for pursuing BCA is that a candidate must score at least 45% in their +2. The candidate can be from any stream. HVAC market in India is huge but an important and a part of the project. BSL, Voltas, Carrier, York, Daikin, Samsung, LG, Suvidha, etc., are important players. BSL, Voltas, Suvidha indulge in large value projects as well in addition to supply of their own products. BSL and Voltas are involved in design and build projects in MEP domain in India. All other players get the projects executed through dealers.
Don't leap into any field because it fascinates you. Every professional domain has a toilet which is not clean. What you want to do in HVAC is therefore more important. Do you want to be a design specialist or planner or a project coordinator/ director or in marketing and sales or channel partner manager, etc or a service specialist? If you would like to know what any domain is really about, I suggest you to opt to begin with after-sales-service domain because, you will be required to dirty your hands and only then you can connect what you have learnt in books hitherto with the reality. This way you will learn:
(a) to be a better sales person - because you will know what not to sell and how to put your foot down to unfeasible expectation an architect / customer may have
(b) to be a better design engineer because you can foresee what the users will face in future and incorporate the same in your design.
(c) to be a better projects person: You will not want the serviceman to suffer when the project is handed over and hence, will fight for essentials for a good project with stake-holders
(d) a better manager of channel partners: channel partners need nurturing, strong company policy for giving them justice and importantly require very close hand-holding especially when you are grooming them, because they are your extended arms. You will know how to respond to them when you know the potential issues before-hand. With sound technical knowledge you can deal with top consultants.
I dont think there is a particular course for HVAC except there was a post Diploma course for specialisation R&AC by a TN institute called Kothari, which is very good but it is for Diploma Holders (I don't know if graduates can apply too).
