As a current student of MBA, I believe that SAP and ERP courses are really beneficical for the career growth whichever sector it be like manufacturing, Retail, FMCG or Financial services sectors. All the companies today employe these tools for efficiency, purposes and so its a great advantage in the corporate sector if you have knowledge of these tools.
I am a student at the Delhi Business School and Pursuing a MBA dual degree in Finance and Marketing. What i am experiencing is a very industry related course curriculum because of which i have got great summer placement with HSBC global. Likewise as a student you could learn Health care management as well as doing Finance courses which means a dual MBA. Top that up with a diploma in Entrepreneurship and business and you are ideally positioned in your career graph. Like wise at Delhi Business School you could pursue an MBA in Finance and Retail Management.
At DBS, you learn about the SAP/ERP courses while in college so you dont need to go anywhere to learn this. Also you learn about these courses from your industry stalwarts who have significant amout of experience in industry.

Its good that you have thought of doing an MBA in Finance as Finance is one of the most upcoming fields of today. With India's GDP growing at 9% plus a lot of institutions will need more banking and financial services skills and hence a lot more jobs will be created.
I would suggest that you should go for a course which makes you more industry prepared to increase the probability of your placements. For example I am a student at the Delhi Business School and Pursuing a MBA dual degree in Finance and Marketing.
What i am experiencing is a very industry related course curriculum because of which i have got great summer placement with HSBC global. Likewise as a student you could learn Health care management as well as doing Finance courses which means a dual MBA.
Top that up with a diploma in Entrepreneurship and business and you are ideally positioned in your career graph. Like wise at Delhi Business School you could pursue an MBA in Finance and Marketing.
The Course Structure of Delhi Business School is infact very flexible. I have also learnt courses at DBS on SAP/ERP which have been really helpful from the perspective of picking up a job in a bank

i must tell you that both of them are very progressive fields and are really going to generate a lot of jobs in the near future. Your best bet is indeed a Dual MBA with Finance and international Business. This would really help you with your placements.

Not disregarding the fact that SMU Distance MBA is better, A Regular MBA is always preferable from placements and growth point of view for the Bschool candidate. Also important is the choice of the Business school
There is a lot of value in a full time course than a part time MBA which is just any other degree in essesnce.
My Example, I am a regular student at the Delhi Business School and Pursuing a MBA dual degree in Finance and Marketing. Likewise as a student you could learn Health care management as well as doing Finance courses which means a dual MBA. Top that up with a diploma in Entrepreneurship and business and you are ideally positioned in your career graph.
Like wise at Delhi Business School you could pursue an MBA in Finance and marketing and also IT or International Business as Dual majors if you want. There is also a lot of demand for SAP/ERP courses in the corporate sector, And these are a part of curriculum at DBS.
All this you only learn in a full time course in a good b school like DBSMake your Choice wisely.

Indeed they do a lot of marketing. If you ask me about any college such as IIPM or any other Business School I would advice you to as a rule of thumb foloww this process about a B school.
1. What is the placements structure of the college?
2. What is the fees and the degree affiliation of the college.
3. What is the Course structure and Industry exposure.
IIPM does snot have its degree recognized by any other University in India and so its one of the worst options for a BSchool candidate. They have a huge marketing budget and thats it and thats what they sell.

Hello,
I am currently a student of the Delhi Business School and indeed they provide Extra language classes(german is one of the most popular Course Class) being taught here.
apart from them DBS organises industry tours to various organisations for students to elarn more about them. It also does have classes on SAP/ERP and other financial courses which are really important to be learnt before joining the corporate world.
There also is a resume building session by the industry stalwarts who have heavy experience in the corporate sector to train students of DBS.
Because of all this and the courses structure(dual MBA with Marketing and finance), I was able to secure a high placement job with HSBC Financial services with package 7 lakhs.
