There are several factors that need to be considered before choosing a particular stream after Class 12:
Aptitude of the student
Personal Interests
Options for you-
1. Bachelor of Arts with specialization such as-
English
History
Sociology
Psychology
Political Science
Public Administration
2. Bachelor of Fine Arts
3. Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication
4. Others-
B.COM or B.B.A or B.B.M
B.A Economics Honors
BCA (If had Maths and interested in IT industry)
Foreign language if aim for an interpreter’s job in the consulates and embassies. Some of the choices in this regard are French, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.

First of all choose the course of your interest , If you are interested in computers then choose BCA instead of Bcom.
However doing Btech(CS) would be better then BCA if you can otherwise continue to BCA and then you can opt for MCA or MscIT or can do job.
True that you can also do MCA after Bcom but BCA will give you a good start and will teach you basics(of computers) and will prepare you as per the need of industry.
