This gives the students credibility of their quality and education during their placements to the Companies and for higher studies. In order to take admission in LPU for a maximum of the courses, the percentage required in 10+2 is 60% along with that subjects of study are also mentioned and the candidate needs to appear for LPU NEST Exam. In order to take admission in any course you need to qaulify the eligibility criteria and along with that you need to appear for LPU NEST which depends of the domain that you are planning to take admission. Yes, there is a cut off for LPU NEST for every course that you need to attain to get an admission into that course. The test is an objective test and the structure of the test depends upon the course that you are intending to take admission. LPU NEST exam time also depends upon the course that you wish to take admission. For B.Tech courses even the previous year sample test can be downloaded from the LPU website. In order to apply the candidate needs to visit LPU website and apply and according has to book a slot. LPU NEST will be conducted online while the candidate is sitting at home in a proctored mode. Many opportunities are there in airline industry other than Pilot. You can serve as Cabin Crew / Air Hostess.There are short term courses in cabin crew management / stewards -Air hostess training. HSc is the basic qualification to enroll for these courses. Graduation is preferred. You should have minimum physical standards for this jobs, also you should posses excellent communication and Interpersonal skills are essential .
Another is Grounds Jobs - such as customer service Managers, Executives etc. of various airline companies. Graduation / Hsc is mandatory for these roles. Strong English skills are essential.
Now many institutions are conducting BBA/ MBA course in Airline and Airport Management. Such courses will help you to get jobs in Airport / Airline companies.
