VIT Pune is a more reputed college irrespective of its courses. Placements are good with an average package of 4-7 LPA and the highest package is around 26.4LPA. VIIT Pune is also an autonomous college where it has collaborated with VIT to conduct its placements. Hence students in both the colleges will get equal opportunity to go through the recruitment process.

Yes, the minimum eligibility criteria to become eligible for the UGC NET Exam is having a master's degree with 55% aggregate marks. The candidates who belong from the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgenders) will get the relaxations in the required percentage for the NET Exam.
There is no age limit to appear in NET Exam for Lectureship but if you are going to apply for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) then the maximum age limit is 30 years. I hope it helps.

There are some reservation criteria in UGC NET Exam for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Transgenders. If you qualify the UGC NET Exam with having 54% aggregate marks in postgraduation, it is fine.
