Dear Ayushman, LPU provides a lot of resources for students including separate Labs for each department. The professors are friendly and helpful. Various professors have Ph.D. in their particular subject. Some of them also have industrial experience which they share with us occasionally. Having an industrial experience helps them to guide us better towards the right direction while adding to the quality of education in the university. Apart from the faculty here, I found my batch mates and seniors really helpful too. Proper study material is provided by the university. There's a huge Library here. Use it wisely. Must say, University life requires hard-work along with good social relationship and activeness. Also, the labs are fully functional with world-class equipment. The fee is very nominal for students as compared to the other private colleges. One may also try for a scholarship. The amount of exposure I have received will take me places. I have participated in 3-4 international competitions and handled a crowd of 2000 on stage. This is all because we Vertos (students of LPU) are trained from day 1 on a voluntary basis for all this. Starting from Learning new languages or Guitar, building Cars, debates and essay writing, sports, LPU have everything which a student wants to learn. We have a dedicated 10-floor building for this, known as DSA-Division of Students Affairs. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interviewing skills right from the 2nd year, continuously for 1-1.5 years till they get a job. Placements and job opportunities in LPU are as good as compared to other private colleges and now it is getting better and better, there are loads of companies with LPU has tied up for placement of their student. Many seniors have been placed in reputed companies because of the opportunity provided by the college. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some like Google, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Snapdeal, Vodafone, Airtel, LG, HCL, and many more. Almost 98% of students who have above 6 CGPA in engineering get placed in any reputed company. On average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year.
