As per the record, DTU is the best institution in mechanical engineering all over India. But IIITDM is new and most probably build for the latest mechanical needs, I think it will be most suitable for you. But, DTU has its own life that's awesome and awesome mechanical experience , professors in the mechanical field have vast knowledge and also shows interest in innovating in it with students as part of their project which can upskill the student in its own splendid way.

To become a sports physiotherapist you should have taken the Science PCB stream in +2. You can do a Master of Sports Management, MBA in Sports Management, PG Diploma in sports management any one of these to pursue a career in sports. Hope this answer helps.
