To qualify the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2022 aspirants should have secured a minimum of 45 % marks in case of General Category and 40% for Persons with Disability, PwD aspirants (belonging to Maharashtra State only). For ordering of colleges it should be based on your preferred Branch and college. Basically JoSAA is the counselling body for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs but with CSAB except rest other colleges are considered for counselling and also in CSAB allotment is done purely on the AIR basis in JEE Main. No preference based on any category. You got a chance to fill up the choice of college again in CSAB. Hope it helps.

IIIT Hyderabad- For CS you need to get around 1100 rank in JEE Mains. NIT Trichy-Cutoff for CS-1500
NSUT-Cutoff for COE-1800 (outside Delhi)
NIT Surathkal-Cutoff for CS-2500

DTU-Cutoff for COE-3000 (outside Delhi)

Hello Priyanka, knowing the condition of status of seats filled by different engineering colleges in Maharashtra in the previous years I am sure that you will get admission in one of the colleges in Mumbai. But if I may advise you why the need to go for engineering with just 26 percentile. These days students have variety of choices to make a career in diverse fields and definitely engineering is not the only one. However to keep the record straight I may advice you that you will get all the required information from the college predictor for MHT CET specially designed by Shiksha which you should download and use. Like NIT Nagpur is also among top NITs and you can get CIVIL, CHEMICAL, MECH in it. But since your rank is Good enough you can go for Higher Branches in mediocre NITs like NIT JAMSHEDPUR, NIT RAIPUR, NIT PATNA,. You can also check for IIITGwalior for Dual Degree. I know by the time of answering JoSAA choices has been locked but you can analyse and If needed you can go for CSAB in which only AIR is considered. No preference based on any category. Hope it helps if then please upvote it.
