JIS College of Engineering is a private college recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) . It was established in 2000 and is located in Kalyani, West Bengal, India. The college was declared autonomous by the UGC in 2011 and is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB) . JIS College of Engineering is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with Grade-A. Pen and paper testing will be used for the NID DAT 2026 Prelims exam.

A Studio Test will be included in the NID DAT 2025 Mains exam for the B. Des programme. This test will also be administered offline. In the meantime, an offline Studio Test and Interview are part of the DAT Mains exam for the M.Des curriculum. There could be several formats for the studio test (Drawing, Sketching, and Model Making). Candidates for the M.Des programme are selected for interviews depending on how well they performed in the studio test.

SBI Clerk admit card is released by the exam conducting body. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. 

The candidate will be given the option to select NID DAT 2026 Exam centres soon after the results of DAT Prelims exam is announced. 

The test centres will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of candidates who don't select test cities, the system will automatically allocat test cities based on the availability of seats in respective test centres. NID DAT Prelims 2026 exam will take place in 17 cities in India. Each of these exam cities may have one or more test centres. Candidate will have to select their choice of exam centres for the DAT Prelims exam when filling out the NID DAT 2026 Application form. Candidates must be careful when selecting the exam city, because they will not be allowed to change it after the Application edit window closes.
