You require minimum 50% in your graduation to apply for MBA programs in India. The eligibility criteria for B-school institutes is 50% (general category) from any stream and recognized university. For reserved category it is 45%.

XAT can help you to get into XLRI. It is one of the top management institutes in India. MAT and even if you can be in top 10 ranks in India, you can get into JBIMS – Mumbai. To get admission in NIT, a candidate must appear for JEE Mains. Unless, you appear for the entrance exam you won't get admission in National Institute of Technology. The eligibility criteria for entrance exam is class 12th with PCM as the subjects.
Apart from IIT and NIT, most colleges in India offer lateral entry for Diploma students. These colleges do reserve some seats for lateral entry students.
