To pursue MBA, first, you need to score good marks in any one of MBA entrance exams like CAT /XAT/CMAT/SNAP/IIFT/TISS or any other similar exam. After appearing in the exam, you need to fill the college application form in which you want to take admission. Iims directly take your CAT scores and generate a list. There are no explicit application forms for Iims. Based on your score in the entrance exam and your SSC-HSC and graduation score and your work profile, the college will shortlist you for What-PI or GD-PI. Based on your field of interest, you can opt for the programme. PGDM course includes all general subjects in the 1st year and specialisations in the 2nd year (students are given choices to choose their stream). MBA programmes, on the other hand, are dedicated to a particular specialisation. B.Com students generally prefer finance. Students from mechanical will find interest in operations but these are just assumptions, at the end it depends on student's interest to choose the stream. It is always good to start preparation for exams like CAT early on. CAT basically consist of three section:
1. Quant
2. Logical Reasoning / Data Interpretation
3. Reading Comprehension/ Verbal Ability

subjects including English as one of the Subjects, result of which should be available upto 30.09.2018
AGE LIMIT
For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2018. Candidates born
on or after July 01, 1996 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age
limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2018. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after July 01, 1993 are eligible.

B.Sc. (Honors). In Home Science / B.Sc. (Pass) in Home Science / B.Sc. (Honors). In Food Technology: after (10+2)/ PGDDPHN (1 year), from Delhi University or any other University whose Examination is recognised by the University of Delhi as equivalent and fulfill other conditions of eligibility. Should have passed Nutritional Biochemistry and any two subjects in the following areas: Food & Nutrition / Nutrition through the life cycle / Public Nutrition / Food Science and Processing / Diet therapy / Microbiology/ Nutrition for Adults and Elderly/ Nutrition for Children and Adolescents with minimum 55%. Entrance Examination: All candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions can take the entrance examination. On the basis of performance in the Exam merit lists will be prepared as per DU admission process.
