In India, if one have a flying experience of 250 hours, they can work as a commercial pilot. The salary of a commercial pilot is high in India. As a fresher, they can earn Rs 1.5 Lacs per month. Hence, you should be studying subjects such as History, Geography, Sociology, etc., in class 11th and class 12th. You can easily study Science or commerce, and still, study history/archaeology in your under-graduation. You will be able to specialize in archaeology only at the Masters/Post-Graduate level (at least in India).

For being eligible for SSC JEE, you need to have a Diploma or a Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical discipline. You should have passed or the results should have been declared before January 1st, 2019. Final year students either B.Tech or Diploma are not eligible for SSC JE.
