Hi Nikhil,
The choice between MCA and MBA depends on your interest domain. If you would like to have a purely technical career in programming then you should go for MCA. You can pursue MCA through distance learning from IGNOU or SMU. IGNOU has provision for non-mathematics students too. However if a core technical career does not interest you much, then you can go for MBA in IT. Along with you can also consider a course in Project Management. This along with MBA will help your career to grow to the level of Team Leader and Project Manager. You can pursue MBA also through distance learning from SMU or IMT ghaziabad or IGNOU. Project Manag

Dear Prins,
Every year around 30-40 companies visits the Campus. So, all those who wants to take a job gets one. In that way, 100% placement record is maintained. Those who wants to be an entrepreneur, has own business or has failed in the exam doesn't sit in the interview itself. Hence the figure goes down.
This year also the same record is managed.
Thank you. Keep asking.

Hi Gaurav,
Best would be to continue with your pg degree after BSc.(IT). You can go for MSc.(IT) or MCA after BSc. Most of the companies these days are having web based projects. Therefore the skills required are knowledge of Java, Oracle, VB.Net, Asp.Net, C#, XML etc. Normally these subjects are covered as part of the BSc. syllabus, but are not covered extensively. So best would be to join these course separately from a private institute like NIIT, STG, Aptech etc. and at the same time clear their certifications too. A SUN certified Java programmer is given more value than a Java expert, who is not certified. Similarly target clearing

The average placement for Mba this year was round about 3.5 to 4 lakhs. Placement also depends on the stream that you choose. For example in Abbs Marketing guys get a handsome package where as the initial package for Hr and Finance is comparetively low but it gradually increases a lot after 6 months.

The placement of MBA in ABBS is quite good. this year the highest package achieve from MBA is 6 lakhs+ , the average package is round about 3.5 lakhs and the lowest package is some where around 1.8 lakhs.
My experience at ABBS has been superb till now. here you get all the facilities that you actually look for in an MBA college. Good exposure, great faculties with good industrial experience, club activities to brush up and explorer the hidden talent in a student, good industrial exposure, wide range of guest lectures and lots more. Coming into ABBS was my choice and I was not wrong.
