if you have given JEE and are confident of good marks then go for some reputed colleges like iits,nits etc but i ahve heard there are some good colleges in northern that are providing good education along with high placement record.

No, South Indian students don't face any problem in getting admission to Lovely Professional University. The admission process is the same for everyone and is based on your eligibility (12th marks or LPUNEST), not your state or background.
From a student point of view, there's already a large number of students from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, so you'll easily find people from your region. The campus environment is diverse, English is commonly used, and overall adjustment is smooth, so you won't face any real issues.
