I don't see any chance of u getting into NIT unless u r SC candidate.You should look for colleges falling under WBJEE through management quoata as u have a advantage of home state domicile.

CBIT offers hostel facility and it also has day scholar facility so chose accordingly. Many of my friends are studying there from outside the hostels. Hope I have cleared your doubts, Good luck!
