There are no such branch of engineering which can be considered best for everyone, it depends on lots of factors such as your field of interest, why you are pursuing engineering, your capabilities, your creativity, etc.
But following is the order for scope wise:
CSE
ECE
Mechanical
IT
EEE
I'd suggest taking EEE in worst case.

No, you can't go to USA or Germany without IELTS since it is very mandatory for you to give IELTS then apply for any college of any field you think. But if you are very keen to go aboard don't want to give IELTS then apply to New Zealand.

Pros: Youll gets a lot more time to study for JEE. There will be minimal if any, requirements for attendance. You will probably have to go to school 1/2 days a week and on some weeks, not at all. Since you will not be bogged down by a daily school routine, you will be able to devote more time for JEE prep. This obviously means better preparation, better rank, a good branch in an old IIT.
But that was obvious. The cons are not obvious, however.
Cons: As of now, you believe (or have been led to believe) JEE is the ultimate goal in your life. Once you crack JEE, you will have succeeded in your quest. You'll realise that this is a ridiculous

I was weak in topics like laws of motions, mechanics and kinematics from 11th class. I never tried to understand these topics deeply that resulted in just 65% aggregate in my 11th class.

It developed a phobia in my mind, mechanics phobia. What happened next was I didn't attempt mechanics questions in in JEE 2016.
I decided to overcome this fear by choosing mechanical engineering.
I was having passion in learning about machines, gadgets and automobiles.
In first year of engineering there is no me

I am continuously looking on pattern of CAT 2015, to improve quality they are continuously changing pattern. The major changes were that they added one more section. Now, the exam had three sections, namely, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), and Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC). For more details, I would suggest you to do some research on net, where you can find more information and data.
