Of course, going for polytechnic is good if you want to be technically strong than those who are joining engineering after 12th. After joining Polytechnic, you will be technically sound already as compared to freshers coming from 12th. While those who are coming by doing 12th they will lack knowledge as compared to you. The 2nd important thing is you will not have to go for entrance exam while applying for Engineering. Sometimes, it's problematic to score in the entrance and get a good college. So, you will be on safer side if you go for Polytechnic. If you want to apply for a college like NIT or IIT then you have to do 12th and take t

Hi Amruth, Becoming a commercial pilot can be considered difficult, but just as difficult as many things we achieve in life. Once you become a commercial pilot, to keep being one, you need the same level of dedication and effort you put when becoming one. It requires dedication, studies, and some personal sacrifices. You need to keep current all the time, so you have to keep studying throughout your entire career. But it will only teach you Physics, estimation, improve your mathematics, and your instinct. Rest is all buttons and pulleys. You need to get your MENTAL PHYSICS honed up to a very sharp level. Develop patience and resilience

Who told you that? Why will you pay any airline to hire you? No airline asks for any payment to hire you. There is always some company Training required for which you might be asked to pay. It is known as Training cost, there are some standard operating procedures which are taught to every employee irrespective of what position he or she is hired for. This payment may be done in parts as emi or one time as per the company requirements.

For mining branch, the on-campus placements are very low, it's less than 30% and even low for the batches I saw. None of my friends from Mining department got placed in the campus and many of them have pointer 8.5+. Later, they got jobs through off-campus placements, that's a different story.

The salaries of Pilots are similar all over the aviation market, it differs only on the basis of allowances that are paid to the pilots. Any FO can expect initial salary of around Rs. 1.3-2.0 lacs per month. The flying allowances range between Rs. 1700-2400 per hour.Layover allowances are paid at the rate of $18-24 per day. So for any FO who flies around 60-70 hours per month the salary ranges between Rs. 2.0-3.0 lacs per month. For captains the salary almost doubles i.e. Rs. 4.0-7.0 lacs per month, initially. This range includes almost all the salary packages offered by either schedules operators or non-scheduled operators.

Scholarships are based on your marks, category, economic condition and attendance here. At the beginning of each year, there are scholarship forms that are circulated. You can fill one with your details, if selected for the scholarship by administration then you will avail the benefits. Attendance and marks are one of the criteria given utter importance though.

Let me give few reasons of why you should not join Acharya Mechatronics or Mechatronics at all in VTU. Acharya is doing pretty well in placements. This year itself more than 350 students got placed (most of those are in IT companies). Its big achievement for private state level institute but no core mechatronics company visited the campus (I wonder is there any pure mechatronics company). Very few mechanical companies visited campus and most of those companies were allowing mechatronics student to appear test & interviews. I thing so there is no point in joining mechatronics because at the end of the day you will be working in mechanic

You may get MBBS seat for less than INR 10 Lacsas donation amount. But , I would recommend you not to go for such colleges, as these are not well established. Most of them don't even have a proper MCI recognition. They merely have patients and are located far off from cities. There are no lectures, practicals, postings, dissections or visits. You will waste time and money. Instead, take a drop and get admission in a good medical college.
