Hi Gayathri,
As Shiksha is an education portal and believes in unbiased guidance so it would be unfair to give any personal suggestion regarding any specific institute.
However, if you are planning to take admission, it is always advisable to keep in mind important parameters before selecting any institute.
- Recognition
- Success Rate
- How old the institute is
- Course details
- Faculty
- Infrastructure
- Alumni/Student Feedback
- Fees
You may contact the institute officials personally for specific information before joining the institute.

A merchant navy or merchant marine is the fleet of merchant vessels that are registered in a country, which varies in capacity. Seafarers on merchant vessels, who hold various military-like ranks and responsibilities and are sometimes members of various maritime trade unions, are required by the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers to carry Merchant Mariner's Documents. King George V bestowed the title of the "Merchant Navy" on the British merchant shipping fleets following their service in the First World War, however a number of other nations have since adopted the title.

The nomenclature of the course itself is in dispute. Media Mangement can be about managing media industries. But PR and Advertising are not media but communication. Only MICA, Ahmedabad, has got it right calling it communication management. If there is so much confusion in nomenclature itself one can imagine how the course is going to be. Many MBA Media Management courses are merely teaching a subject or two about journalism or mass media and quickly shift to marketing management. That's why most institutes appear to be exploiting the students with courses they have no idea about.
