Hi, Animation industry in India is expected to grow at a pace faster than even the IT industry's!

There are more than 600 animation studios in India as of 2019, which are estimated to have employed more than 45,000 animation professionals. As per the FICCI KPMG reports, the industry is growing at CAGR of 22 per cent, followed by post-production at 15 per cent, animation production at 9 per cent and animation services at 1 per cent. Chaar Sahibzaade is a 2014 Punjabi language is considered as the watershed moment for this industry. The movie cost was Rs.20 crores and it earned Rs.70 crores globally!
This opened the floodgates of investments in VFX studios all across the country. We can SEE that the animation, VFX, gaming and comics (AVGC) sector of India is only set to grow further. As of now, 40,000 (8%) people out of 5 Lacs people in the media and entertainment sector are employed in the animation, VFX and gaming side. This figure is expected to rise to 90,000 by year 2021 and 4.4 Lacs by 2025. The institution must be equipped with all the high end software, hardware and machinery which is important.
