The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 14290. In 2023, it increased to 14593. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 5090 to 5488 for OBC, 2623 to 2774 for SC, 1206 to 1359 for ST, 2173 to 2472 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Candidates whose parents are in Defence services and the candidates who have appeared in any state/ national level entrance exams are offered an additional 10% scholarship. These NIMS University Jaipur scholarships are applicable over and above the scholarship earned on the Merit-basis, except for those who have earned 100% and the scholarship earned on the basis of Common Scholarship cum Entrance Examinations.

No, the NIMS University scholarships are applicable to the first-year tuition fees only. Further, candidates pursuing PhD, Diploma in Paramedical, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Architecture programmes are not eligible for any scholarship offered by the University.

According to the official website, a total of eight NIMS University scholarships are offered. These include Scholarships for Alumni, Specially Abled Candidates, State/ National Level Players, and Common Scholarship cum Entrance Examinations among others.

The year 2023 cutoff ranks for BTech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology for other than General category are - 5488 for OBC, 2774 for SC, 1359 for ST, 2472 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
