No, you can't get any NIT. You are not qualified for the advanced exam. You are qualified only if you belong to SC or ST or PWD category.

Yes, it is very good college because of this college is well reviewed by the student studying there in terms of the academic qualification and infrastructure. The placement ratio are moderate but are good for the CSE and its related branches. So if you wish, you can take admission to the course offered by the institute.

For general category, the rank should be below 12000 (Home state)
For OBC category, your category rank should be under 4000 (Home state)
Note that if your category rank is 4000, you would not get it in the first round of counselling, you will have to wait for further subsequent rounds. Best of Luck.
