Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women University was the first women's university in India as well as in South-East Asia.
It offers a four-year B.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology at the undergraduate level through affiliated colleges.
To be eligible, the candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with English, physics, and mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must also have obtained the 50% aggregate.
According to college rules, Maharashtra state candidates must appear for the MHT CET, whereas other state candidates need to appear for either the MHT CET or JEE Mains entrance exam. The score of these exams will be considered for admission to college.
However, JEE Mains scores will be preferred over MHT CET scores for other state candidates.
Since MHT CET declared results on September 15 and JEE counseling is still going on, the latest cutoff for B.Tech. (CST) is yet to be announced by the college. The cut-off date for the academic session 2022-23 will be soon published on the official website.

Computer Engineering (CE) is an academic programme that integrates the fields of computer engineering and computer Science. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHT CET is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses in various colleges in Maharashtra. It has recently announced results for 2022. Declaration of the MHT CET result is followed by the submission of an application form for verification of marks. This is known as counseling, wherein candidates need to register online, upload scanned documents, and pay the required counseling fee to participate in the counseling. All of the candidates who managed to secure the cutoff marks will be able to participate in the counseling session for which the registrations will tentatively commence in mid-September. The documents of students will be verified online by the counseling authorities. After document verification, choice filling for MHT CET counseling 2022 will start, and seat allotment will be made in two rounds. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to confirm their admission online by paying the seat confirmation fees and reporting to the allotted institute. Accordingly, the final merit list is then announced by the exam conducting body.

Medical seats in India at private colleges are difficult to grab due to the huge amount of fees. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to give guidelines to private colleges on where they can cap the upper limit of fees. The fees should be at par with the government colleges for at least 50 per cent of the seats. The NMC issued an office memorandum on February 3, stating that it has been decided that the fees for 50 per cent seats in private medical colleges and deemed universities should be on par with that of the government medical colleges of a particular state or Union Territory. According to the office memorandum, the benefit of this fee structure would first be made available to those candidates who have availed the government quota seats but limited to the extent of 50 per cent of the total sanctioned strength of the institute. However, if the government quota seats are less than 50 per cent of the total sanctioned seats, the remaining candidates would avail the benefit of having to pay a fee equivalent to that in government medical colleges.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination WBJEE is a state-level exam conducted by the WBJEE Board. The exam is a gateway for candidates seeking admission into engineering courses at universities, government colleges, and self-financing engineering and technical institutions in West Bengal. Vellore Institute of Technology is a private deemed university. It has four campuses, located at Vellore, Chennai, AP-Amravati, and Bhopal.
The admissions for BTech branches at all its campuses are based on the merit rank from VITEEE, which differs from year to year.
The application process at VIT AP for the 2022 session begins in the month of July. This year admission to all branches, including B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), was completed in the month of September.

Sinhgad College of Engineering (SCOE) is a private college affiliated to the University of Pune. All the courses offered at the college are approved by the AICTE and the NAAC. It offers a B.E. In Mechanical Engineering at the undergraduate level. The placement for this course depends upon the student's skill and performance in the interview during campus placement.
