Computer Science and Engineering at Chandigarh University has always been a very popular choice. Every year many students prefer CSE from here, and after experiencing the university, I understood the reason. It depends on course to course, what you are opting for. If we talk about simple B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering, then The programme has a duration of 4 years with a semester fee of ?1,46,000. Apart from this, students are also required to pay an examination fee of ?2,500 and a security fee of ?2,000. It is also mandatory for students opting for engineering course to give Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), the test is very simple and easy by giving this exam you can also get a scholarship upto 100%. Getting a job after CSE is a big dream for many students. But placements follow rules. First of all, students must meet all eligibility. No active backlog is allowed. Most companies ask for a CGPA above 7 or 7.5 to sit in their drive. Few top firms even prefer 8 CGPA and more. If a student is already placed, they cannot sit again.
