To book a PTE test online, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of Pearson PTE 
2. Create an account; if you don't already have an account, you will need to create one. Click on "Create Account" and provide your personal information, email address, and password.
3. Once you have created your account, log in with your email address and password.
4. Under "Find Your Test", choose the country you want to take the PTE test for, up next, choose your goal of traveling abroad and then you will be presented with a PTE exam that will be best suited for your needs. 
5. Click on "Book test" and answer a few more questions and then you will be taken to "Pearsonvue" web page wherein you will be able to look for a test centre at your nearby locations. 
6. Select the date and time that you prefer to take the test. Make sure to choose a date and time that is available at your chosen test center.
7. After you have selected your test location and date/time, you will be prompted to book your test.  
8. Before confirming your booking, review your details carefully to ensure everything is correct. Once you confirm your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your test details and instructions on how to prepare for the test.
9. Pay the PTE Academic exam fee, Rs 18,000 to finally book the test slot.
