Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is good for BA course as it is a State government, University. The university offers this course at 5.5 k to 11.1 k tuition fees. The basic eligibility to get admission in this college is 10+2 with 50 percen aggregate along with CBSE 12th marks or JAC 12 marks . CUET is also a major exam considered for getting admission in this  Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University. The reputed companies like Infosys, Cisco, Wipro also took part in the placement drive and offered a reasonable package to the students.

Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University offers more than 39 courses in various streams like Humanities and Science. University offers UG, PG, PHD, Diploma and some Vocational courses, like BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, BBA, MBA, B. Ed, PG Diploma etc. For some courses admissions are merit based and for some students have to clear entrance exams.

The Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is a government university. It was established in 1926 as a Government Intermediate College and  it was upgraded to a state university in 2017. It offers scholarships and financial aid to students from economically backward backgrounds.  It is one of the oldest government college in Ranchi with a very low fees. It offers in total 39 courses across 6 streams. This college also has 149 total faculty members.

Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University in Ranchi is ranked 3rd in Jharkhand and fourteenth among state universities in India. The Central University of Jharkhand is ranked 6th out of 20 universities in Jharkhand. It's also ranked 3rd among central universities in Jharkhand. The central university of jharkhand has good infrastructure and an excellent academics but the placement rate here is poor. In Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University the faculty and teaching are quite appreciable and the infrastructure is well advanced. It has got a poor placement record against the central university of jharkhand. 

Since Dr. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee University is a government establishment University, the fee structure and the hostel fees are very low compared to private universities in India. It provides hostels for both boys and girls and the hostel fee is 15,000 rupees. The fee structure for various othe courses provided here are :-

MBA : 40,000 rupees 

BA : 2,835 rupees

B.Sc. : 14,000 rupees

The IHM Bengaluru has 285 seats available for its BSc programme . To get a seat in IHM Bengluru you should have completed class 12 and have an aggregate of 50% marks in the class 12 examination. You have to attend the NCHM JEE Examination after 12th class. Admission is based on NCHM JEE scores. The total tuition  fees is 3.2 lakh for this course. The admission cut off for this year was 2151 for B.sc admission.

The annual fee for BSc programme at IHM Bengluru is 1,22,250 rupees. It is a three year course so  approximately it will cost around 3,66,750 rupees excluding hotel fees application fee . Hostel fee may vary from year to year, the average hostel fee is 75,000 . If you are willing to opt for single or double or triple sharing rooms then you will be charged seperately.

Single room cost :- 10000 /-

Double sharing room cost :- 8000/-

Triple sharing room cost :- 6000/-

BSc at Institute of Hotel Management Bengaluru is top ranked Institute in India whereas the Institute of Hotel Management Delhi is ranked 1 in 2023. The fee structure is almost similar to the IHM Bengaluru and IHM Delhi, and the packages offered here in Delhi and Benguluru are somewhat convincing. The benguluru IHM students got 8 LPA as the highest package offered by top companies in 2023 and the IHM Delhi offered 7 LPA as the highest package. 

As per my knowledge we have around 300 students who are pursuing their hotel management course from Institute of Hotel Management Bengaluru. Out of them 90%-93% got placed with a good package. The highest package was 8LPA offered by Samsung . Other recruiting companies of our college are Taj Hotels, Hyatt, etc. Even if your don't get placed here in the campus recruitment drive, you will surely be helped by the college management to get placed . 

Yes, you can get admission to the Institute of Hotel Management Bengaluru (IHM Bangalore) with 60% in Class 12th, but only if you score well in the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam. The NCHMCT JEE is the only entrance exam accepted for admission to IHM Bangalore, and the cut-off marks depens your eligibility for the couselling and interview rounds.

However, it is important to note that the competition for admission to IHM Bangalore is very high, even for candidates with 60% in Class 12th. Therefore, it is advisable to score as high as possible in the NCHMCT JEE in order to increase your chances of getting admission.
