Below are some of the topics that need to be covered to prepare for the GMAT Quants:

• Arithmetic: Number system (unit digit, powers, roots, fractions, decimals, etc.), average, ratio and proportion, mixtures and allegations, percentages, profit and loss, interest, speed, time and distance, sets, probability, statistics, etc.
• Algebra: Equations, quadratic equations, polynomials, functions, exponents, inequalities, permutation and combination, etc.
• Geometry: Triangle, lines and angles, quadrilaterals, circles, coordinate geometry, etc.

Students must note that the GMAT Focus Edition syllabus and pattern for Quantitative Reasoning section is different from the current version of the GMAT 2023 exam. .

In order pursue higher studies from Robert Gordon University, all Indian students have to fulfill certain admission requirements. These requirements for postgraduate/master's courses consist of:

Academic Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree with a Second Class degree or an overall average of 55%+ from a recognised institution; OR
• Minimum overall average of 50% for universities of Mumbai, Delhi and Calcutta; and
• 6.0 GPA or B or 'above average' on 10 Point Scale in CBCS (Choice Based Credit System); OR
• 2.67 GPA on 4 Point Scale or B or 55%; OR

English Language Requirements:

• 65% & above in All Indian State Boards - Senior Secondary and CISCE/CBSE (Year 12) – English or English Core; OR
• IELTS score: 6.5 overall  (no less than 5.5 in each band), or equivalent.

Note:

A few Robert Gordon University postgraduate programs require a minimum of second class upper classification, or an equivalent.

Applicants with lower qualification and / or relevant work experience are considered on a case by case basis.

Students who do not meet Robert Gordon University's direct entry requirements can undertake a pre-masters programme through the International College at RGU.

Pearl Academy Rajouri PG Diploma courses's eligibility criteria requires Candidates to pass graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. Admission to the course is based on entrance exam conducted by the university. Pearl Academy Entrance Exam is an online/ offline test conducted for a duration of 90 minutes. General Proficiency Test (GPT) evaluates a candidate's proficiency in the English language, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation. Design Aptitude Test (DAT) evaluates a candidates' aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.

Reading comprehension, critical thinking, and sentence correction are all tested in the verbal portion. These skills assess your capacity to comprehend written content, assess arguments, and fix grammatical mistakes in phrases. Integrated reasoning calls for the ability to synthesise knowledge and make conclusions based on the analysis of complex data from several sources, including tables, graphs, and charts.

With the removal of the Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) and a reduction in overall exam time, the GMAT Focus Edition is more effective while still evaluating the critical abilities required for success in business school. These parts assess logical reasoning, data interpretation, and critical thinking—all of which are essential in management education.

As the name suggests, GMAT Focus Edition Syllabus is the new version of the GMAT entrance examination as effective from the year 2023. Let's discuss the syllabus in detail:

• Twenty Three Questions of verbal reasoning which includes multiple choice questions based on reading and critical verbal analysis.

• Twenty Questions of data insights including graph analysis, data sufficiently and graph interpretation skills of the candidate. 

The total time duration for this examination is 135 minutes.
