* After completing B.E / B.Tech in Fire and Safety engineering :
- One can join in petroleum refineries, petrochemicals and plastic, fertilizers, textiles, LPG and LNG handling and bottling plants, chemicals and other plants where there are risks of fire.
- One can be employed in fire departments of local government bodies, insurance companies, architectural and building design, project management, aircraft industry, industrial processing, and any area of safety where the possibility of fire or combustion represents a hazard.
- One may even work as surveyors in insurance companies.

Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea,
In Government sector, the starting gross salary of a fire engineers could be in the range of Rs 5,000-7,000 per month.
In case of the private sector, salary on joining may gross around Rs 8,000-14,000 per month.

Eligibility for MCA at University of Pune-
Any Science Graduate (including B.C.A. under Science Faculty) with Mathematics at 10+2 Level.
An entrance examination is also conducted for the admission to the full time courses conducted at the Department of Computer Science, University of Pune.
The Entrance Examination consists of multiple choice (objective type) questions (100 marks), and covers the areas of Mathematics, general aptitude and English language
Mathematics Syllabus:
Set theory: Set operations, relations, functions.
Propositional logic: Formulation, deduction, evaluation, puzzles.
Linear Algebra: Solution of a system of linear equations. Determinant and inverse of a matrix, basic properties of matrices.
Co-ordinate Geometry and Conic Sections: Equations of lines and planes, vector products; definitions and properties of conic sections.
