I remember answering a similar query to you. Great to see you again. Well for this one, I would suggest you to go for Certified Automation Engineer course as that includes PLCs Training, DCS Traing, SCADA Training, Embedded Training, etc which would definitely add a new dimension line to your professional career.
Talking about PGDIA, I would say you are not eligible for the program as you hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and the minimum eligibility for the course is a bachelors degree.
Feel free to revert. Appraise by liking it or marking as best.
Good luck.

As very well explained by Aru, I would add to this that preparation for such exams need time management and accuracy so do keep these two factors while preparing. As far as coaching Institutes are concerned you may not find many Institutes giving coaching for such Entrance Examination, so you should probably try with Institutes which are providing Entrance Exam coaching like CAT, LAW etc. Check with TIME, Career Launcher etc.
