Hi Heera, you will be allowed to work part time for 20 hours per week and you need to attend classes for 18 hours per week. During vacation you can work full time that is for 40 hrs per week.
If the work limit exceeds the permitted hours, you will be deported back.
Documents required to apply for admission- Class 10 and 12 marksheets and Passing certificate, sem wise or year wise marksheets, degree certificate or provsional certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation(2), Work experience letters from all employers (if any), CV (if you have work ex or are applying for MBA), A copy of your passport(1st and Last Page), IELTS

MCA is a masters course and less can be compared to several other certificate courses related to IT and has independent value and importance.
Yet I would suggest you that you can opt for either of the type of courses depending on your preference and interest.
MCA definitely is technical and consist of programming languages, but this is an important course option if you are gearing for the entrance exams.
