SAS is used for Risk Management and SAP is the market leader in ERP .
SAP have many dimention like FICO(Financial), SD ( sales & distribution),MM,
HR etc . If you are very much strong in any domain say financial sector then you can focus on FICO and SAP BW (Business Warehouse) for further career growth .
If you are strong in system side and want to become administrator then focus on SAP Basis admin .
If you want to become programmer (since you are strong in C++) go for ABAP programming which will take 2 - 3 weeks for c++ programmar .
No need to tell that SAP is the market leader and your career growth is very high .
