1.The recognition of the university (UGC recognized)
2.The type of degree (professional course degree/vocational course degree)
2.The course content
3.The established history of the university (how old is the university)
4. As for Sikkim Manipal University,it does not offer regular courses.It is a private UGC recognized distance learning university.

To be eligible, minimum eligibility for the undergraduate course is 10+2 with 50% marks and post graduate course is graduation.
