Sure you can pursue MBA in HR after BJMC:
In order to pursue MBA program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
The selection process in B-schools generally consists of :
A. Past Academic record.
B. Scores in entrance tests.
C. Group Discussion.
D. Personal Interview.
E. Work experience.
Please note that each B-schools shortlists candidates for second stage of selection process which may be independent of each other.
The process may include
- Written Test.
- Group Discussions.
- Personal Interviews.
Performance in various management entrance tests is an important component in the admission process.
B-schools may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.
The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across B-schools.

It all depends on what kind of career you want for yourself. If your aptitude is more of technical and research oriented then go for M.Tech. However if you are more public oriented like managing things, taking decisions and challenges and want a speedy career growth for yourself with good pay package then go for MBA. There are many streams available like marketing, international marketing, general management, Systems, Finance, operations etc from which you may choose depending upon which field interests you most. Study the course contents of the different MBA specialisations to understand what are the different options available. If you have afford time and finances for pursuing an MBA after engineering then it is advisable to go for MBA first from some reputed institutes and then look or job. MBA opens up more and varied job options to choose from. If you are keen to pursue a career in your core sector than you should go in for a M.Tech. An M.Tech will be useful if you are inclined towards building a career in research and development, product development etc in core engineering or application based firms while an MBA is useful for a career in general management roles in HR, finance, sales and marketing, operations, systems etc in the corporate sector. Assess your long term as well as short-term goals and your aptitude before choosing a course.

First and foremost, heartiest congratulations on securing 99.3 percentile in CAT. In regards to your question, i wish to inform you that CAT exam 2015, will commence from November 2015 onwards.
Also, if your son has scored this percentile in previous year, 2014, the admission to all major institutes have already been frozen and now the admission stands open for the upcoming batch.
Moreover, CAT score card is valid for 1 year only. Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
Although, you may consider taking up a job for better future prospects. But, IIM's is one of the most prestigious institutes. This is one of the golden opportunities for you and you can seek admission in IIM's.

There is not a fix package. Its depend on how much you developed during your MBA and according to your employable skills and your way of presentation. But i can surly say that if you take this course seriously it gives you a lot as much more than you expected .
