I sometimes wonder, 'Are people so insecure?' There are a plethora of fields apart from MBA, where you can make a fantastic career. I suggest, you list down your skill sets and then decide which line or function will suit you. You should then analyze the industry and foresee the growth of the industry for the next 15 years. You need to talk to professionals and get to understand the growth pattern. You will then be in a position to take the right decision. Never get tempted by salaries. In case, you still feel that an MBA program will add value, by all means go ahead.
