Hi, Since the beginning of the creation, when someone placed a roof over his head or laid a tree trunk across a river to cross it, Civil Engineering existed. Both the universities are doing good, but there is one university far ahead of these universities, and that's LPU. Learning by Doing, in which fresher students of the school of civil engineering prepared the building models under the guidance of faculty. The placements are excellent. Rahul don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to sail through vast sea go with Marine engineering. If you have not decided what you want to do after B.Tech, sit for one or two days and decided what you want to do. If still confused, select any of the engineering mentioned in point # 1, 2 and 3 (Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics). Best of luck.

Sanjith, The Common Admission Test is a computer based test held in India. The test scores a candidate on the bases of Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. The Indian Institutes of Management started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs. SOme private universities like Lovely, Chitkara, Mullana, etc offer admission to MBA on basis of MAT, XAT, CET, GMAT or their own tests too.
All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements that they offer. Some of them even offer scholarships.
