The university has an on-campus residence named Caledonian Court. Caledonian Court, situated in the heart of the city, houses people from numerous countries such as China, Greece, Nigeria, Germany, America, etc. It has a capacity of 660 students. The self-contained flats provided at the Court are well-furnished with heating, electricity, and other necessary equipment that can accommodate six to eight people.

Students accepted in different courses offered by the university can apply for accommodation. However, the priority is assigned based on the following criteria.

• An international student who is in their first year.

•  A student who resides outside the European Union.

•  A student with recognised special needs.

For a 41-week contract, the rent for the accommodation ranges from GBP 99.79 to GBP 118 per week. The rent includes heat, light, power, and wired and unwired internet connection.

When the letter of accommodation is received, students can make an advance payment of GBP 650 and accept the Conditions of Lease. On confirmation, students will have to complete and sign the acceptance form.

Steps for UG Application

Undergraduate applications for Glasgow Caledonian University are accepted through UCAS. Following are the steps that need to be followed by the students

International applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of applying or during the first term. They should have graduated secondary school or equivalent for undergraduate-level courses and have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent for the postgraduate Diploma and certificate courses.  Students may need to fulfil other subject-specific criteria for admission to their selected program.

BBA Admission Requirements

The college offers a BBA degree in Accounting, General Management, and Marketing. Applicants should have graduated high school with completion of university-level Math course or equivalent, such as:

• C+ in Foundations of Math 11
• C in Pre-Calculus 11
• C in Principles of Math 11
• C in Applications of Math 12

Postgraduate Diploma Requirements

An accredited bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three academic years from a recognised institution and a C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent.

English Language Requirements

International students need any of these exam scores as proof of English proficiency:

Students who do not meet the minimum requirement for English proficiency will be required to take NIC’s English 104 course.

Trinity College Dublin application fee for international students is EUR 55 or INR 5.7K for undergraduate and graduate admission. This application fee is non-refundable and applicants must pay it to submit an undergraduate and graduate application at TCD.

In order to apply for an undergraduate course at Glasgow Caledonian University, students need to fulfil the following entry requirements:

• At least 60% in each subject from XII Standard exams

• Advanced entry to Level 2 or 3 can be considered with equivalent study from Bachelor's degree

• 70% in standard XII English can be accepted as proof of English-language proficiency for programs that require 6.0 on the IELTS
