Students who are passionate about the rich wild life in India are willing to venture into the wild primarily to protect, manage and preserve it. The Wild life Institute of India, Dehradun, one of the premier institutes in wildlife conservation, offers M.Sc. In wild life research and management. Eligibility is for graduates in Science, agriculture, forestry, veterinary and life sciences. The eligible candidates have to write National Entrance Test (NET) in one of the 6 Centres (Bengaluru, Dehradun, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Guwahati). The NET which is of 2.5 hours, tests the candidates on GK, general Science, life sciences, forestry, agriculture Science, veterinary Science, geology, geography, sociology, economics and engineering. Shortlisted meritorious candidates based on NET screening will be called to take a personality and aptitude test PAT at Dehra Dun
The National Centre of Biological Sciences is another premier institute in wildlife conservation. It offers M.Sc. In wildlife biology and conservation for graduates in any discipline. University of Kotak, Rajasthan offers M.Sc. In wild life sciences and graduates in botany, zoology, agriculture, nursing, forestry, biotechnology, veterinary and other equivalent Science degree are eligible for this course. Amity Institute of wildlife sciences offers M.Sc. In wild life sciences, a graduate in Science subjects/engineering/ veterinary/ forestry/ agriculture/environmental studies is eligible to apply, Arid Forest Research Institute, Rajasthan Arid Forest Research Institute, situated at Jodhpur in Rajasthan (India), is one of the institutes of the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE) working under the Ministry of Environment & Forests, government. Of India. Saurashtra University at Rajkot, Gujarat (WII is affiliated to this university) offers a M.Sc. Wildlife Science and the eligible candidates have to write National Entrance Test (NET). Placements: In the year 2018, almost 60% of the students got placed in IT companies. Actually, TCS is a mass recruiter and it recruited 170 students out of 350 eligible candidates last year. Expect TCS, many other companies like I GET, Johnson Control, Microsoft and IXIA comes here for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good, as the campus is small. Classroom and labs are quite comfortable. The library is fine with 80000 books. There is no official canteen in the college and the college does not provide hostel facilities.
The college football ground is very small and dirty, the college does not conduct any fest.
Faculty: A few faculty members are very helpful and most of the other faculty members are useless, the strength of the college is approximately 2000 to 3000 students. Actually, teachers are highly educated and they don't clear student doubt. Some teachers do partially with Non-Bengal students.
Other: The college has tech fest name Avenir but last few years our college's tech fest is getting conducted.

Hello Harpreet, It's very nice to see your desire of studying Engineering graduation in Japan. However many countries including Japan do not accept Diploma as the qualification for undergraduate studies. 10 + 2 or XIIth standard is normally considered as the basis for granting admission. However some colleges do accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th and based on this assumption you can seek admission. In this connection my sincere advice to you will be to get in touch with an agency sending students to Japan for undergraduate studies since there are many nuances that are involved and even if you miss out on one, admission could be affected. It would be in your interest to go to such an agency. Best wishes.
