Hello Anil, what you are asking is not practically feasible. In other words if you ask five people you will get five different opinions. In the first instance comparing oranges with apples is not a very correct thing to do since one may like apples and other person made like oranges. Both discourses are good in their own right. Hello Ishan, it's nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma in engineering. After Diploma in automobile engineering, I feel that if you do graduation in mechanical engineering then your chances of getting job will increase manifold. Automobile engineering is not bad but surely it has restricted availability of jobs as compared with mechanical engineering. Right? Here I would like to advise you to first clean state as to what you are doing at the moment. Meaning have you passed your 12th? Are you awaiting admission in engineering College via MHT CET. Yes you can do the M.A. History after B.Sc. Please write the college name for better response. However the eligibility criteria of LPU is given below for an idea.
Eligibility criteria of LPU for M.A History : Pass in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent.
Eligibility criteria of M.A. History of DU : An Undergraduate Degree from Delhi University or any or other recognised University Degree other than BA (Pass/Prog./Hons.) / B.Com. (Pass/Hons.)/ B.Sc. (Gen./Hons.)/M.A./ M.Com./M.Sc. (e.g. B.Tech. MBBS etc.)

If you want to pursue MA Economics, having a background in BA Economics or BSc Economics will be an added benefit. Your score in graduation can also be considered as a parameter for admission into the course, as many colleges set 50% marks as an important eligibility criteria. 

Also, one can easily pursue an MA in Economics without a BA in Economics. There are Many universities that offer Economics MA degree to a range of undergraduate candidates, including those from sciences.

Course have the flexibility in completion and can be completed up to maximum 6 years of duration. There is no minimum and maximum age bar for admission.
