no institute is bad if its recognised.& as my point of view its recognised so you can do your MBA here.just concentrate on your studies don't go for giving attention in ranking of institutes or universities.just study well if you secure good marks then not only you will get rating as well as your college & university ranked.

Hi Prasad,
As Shiksha is a an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance to the students it would be unfair on my part to give my opinion on any particular Institute, however, KSBM is an autonomous Institute which is not recognized by any Education council like UGC or AICTE & also not ranked under any of popular rankings.
Few of the other Distance learning Institutes are: IGNOU, Annamalai University, Alagappa University, IMT, Symbiosis etc.

You cannot compare M.Tech and MBA since both have different applications and scope.
M.Tech is for application based engineering and research whereas MBA is for administration, management etc.
Since you are an engineering student, I would recommend you to continue in that direction by doing M.Tech. Although, as Dr. Mishra (Excel) said, you will get a good career with a degree which suits your interests, skills and aptitude, so decide accordingly.
