Congratulations on getting a good score at MAT. With this score, you should be able to get admission in some of the best management institutes which give admissions based on MAT scores. Some of top institutes also conduct their individual open tests on an all India basis. Thu, it would be important for you to first identify a couple of institutes & keep a tap on what entrance test scores do they adopt for their respective admission process.

With this score in MAT and the 5 year work experience will definetely be an advatage for you during the selection process. The last date of registration depends on the centre you opt for. For suppose if a process date for some location is 31/3/16, then the last date of registration for that location would be 3 days before the process, for this case it will be 27/3/16. However In some locations, We also have the facility of spot registration. All the best

The placement record is average. Fee is too high. Please do not run behind any college, after seeing the promotional promise like Rs. 7.2 Lakhs package or 100 percent placemnt guarantee.' You should know, at the end of the day, you will take a stable job. So, you should decide wisely, whether to choose the bottom pyramid and play gamble with such huge investment or to make a healthy score card to have the tier I colleges.

There is not much difference in pgdm and MBA as pgdm stands for post graduate diploma in management which are given by private institutes or the likes of iims which were made by an act of govt. Whereas a degree in management is called an MBA given by recognized universities only. Both fetch equal weight age if u talk of the likes of iims with that of FMS of DU. THE placement nd packages do not vary but yes a gud rated college matters. Also, an MBA degree might b recognized if you search for employment opportunities outside India bcuz the value of a degree is more there than a diploma unless you are from as famous b school as iims.

Hello Anil,
You will be a better person to answer this. You need another MBA, why?
I often come across applicants fumbling upon these questions, which is normal. The best answer is therefore, to have a clear goal. If you plan to establish your career in this domain, another MBA in product management will really help. Universities in US, generally will not entertain a second MBA application unless you have good enough reasons. Prepare for the GMAT if you haven't, and have clarity over your career.
Research on American universities, the US news ranking will help.
All the best.

IMI Bhubaneswar uses CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores along with sectional scores and other academic parameters like marks in 10th, 12th and graduation for the purpose of shortlisting. The selection criteria are independent of CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores. It varies across the years just as the short-listing criteria and depends on the overall profile of the applicants each year.
