Campus life in IIM Ahmedabad is really good. This would most certainly be the best time of your life. You will find yourself among the best and brightest individuals in the country. The professors here are world class that makes classes so much fun. And you are absolutely free to do whatever you want in your life, you will find sufficient mentorship for whatever you want to do. Also it would be unfair if I don't mention that life here is tough and there is constant competition, which eventually brings best out in you. At the end of two years at IIM Ahmedabad, you will see the value addition in yourself.

Hi Trideep,
Common Admission Test (CAT) is national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). CAT scores are used for admission to various management courses across the country.
The eligibility may tend to vary year after year, hence you have to wait for the notification for CAT 2016.
For CAT 2015, you may refer the below mentioned link:

I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

It varies from one college to another. Although, some universities conduct their own entrance test and give admission on the basis of marks scored in that test. Some of the top colleges offering B.Arch are Lovely Professional University, BHU, J.J School of architecture, CEPT University etc.

Hi Rohit,
As a programmer, you will be expected to be proficient in at least one language like Java or C+. 2. Good command of data structures and algorithmic techniques (not necessarily know sophisticated stuff, but know how to use basic structures and techniques to most efficiently solve a huge array of problems).
3. Thorough coding abilities - translate your approach to code quickly. Debug

The faculty here at this college is excellent. All the faculty members are the pioneers in their respective field and have had an exposure to the field from all over the world which benefits the students as well. They are not only good teachers in the classroom, but are excellent guides as well who are ready to help you in any manner they can. They give you good advice about your career and guide you towards the right path. There is not much formality and they are like friends to the students.
As far as placement is concerned, Some companies do come for campus placements and offer good packages, but most of the students are inclined tow

Scholar-Level 17

The infrastructure of the college is good though not great. Our library access is good and we have unlimited online access. Lecture halls are attractive but WI-FI connection is very poor. No net access across the campus.
We have world class faculties but the attrition rate is very high in XIME for past 2 years (almost 95%). So every year you see complete new faculties who are not able to fill the place of older ones. Placement is really a problem, ROI is worst here.

As per the new UGC guidelines, you can easily pursue a degree course from DU and another course from different university. All you need to keep in mind is that you should not pursue to regular degree courses at a same time.
